OFF-WHITE x Nike release
Nike has been an innovator for generations. They have brought us some of the most incredible sneakers to date. From the Air Jordan 3 to the self lacing Hyper Adapts. Now Nike releases something rather unusual to the sneaker market. A collaboration between them (Nike) and a well know streetwear brand called "OFF-WHITE" has been the talk of the town for quite some time in the sneaker industry. "OFF-WHITE" was founded by DJ & fashion designer Virgil Abloh in 2012. Originally starting out as PYREX, Abloh transformed his vision of a clothing line into what it is today. Keeping aspects from the Chicago 1 itself but putting a spin on different pieces of the shoe, this is one of the most sought after pieces from this collaboration. The "OFF-WHITE" x Air Jordan 1's. The base sneaker is the Chicago 1. The shoe sports an oversized Nike Swoosh logo on the side. The toe box is a mesh instead of leather. The top back panels of sneaker are more of a thin piece leather that is not attached to the rest of sneaker. These have recently released during the "OFF-WHITE" x Nike Campus event. Prices have risen to almost $4,000 for this one sneaker. Will you be trying to snag a pair of your own on the official release day?
